Instructional Materials Bill Passes Florida Senate!

Our Instructional Materials bill passed the Florida Senate on May 5th

Next stop: Governor Scott!

Last  Wednesday, Senator Tom Lee and Rep. Byron Donalds decided to replace the Senate version CS 1210 with the House version CS/HB 989. Their overriding concern was lack of time to reconcile the 2 different versions before the regular session closed on May 5th.

As it turns out, this was a good move.  There was no time for ping pong between the 2 chambers.

You have made the difference at every step along this difficult, “Sudden Death” process.
